1. First install Alexa Toolbar on your site. You can use Smart Page Rank tool which am using now. It shows  Alexa rank, Page Rank, Whois, Backlinks etc.

2. Set the URL of the website (which you wanna improve alexa) as Homepage in your browser. Now whenever you starts your browser, you will add to your alexa.

3. Ask your friends & close ones to do the same. If you can grab some 10 friends to do like above that would be pretty fine!

4. Go to webmaster forums like Digitalpoint, Sitepoint, Namepros, V7nforums, Webmasterworld etc (if you dunno what am speaking about just Google these names & you will be feeling lucky!) Promote your website in these forums. Use your logic on how to promote… I will say an example, Just go to Freebies section of Digitalpoint forums & offer like “I will review your website for Free on my www.example.com” since all members of webmaster forums like digitalpoint use the alexa tool bar it will add a lot to your Alexa.

5. Apply varieties of above said technique in different forums & multiple number of different ideas on same forums. Use your commonsense to generate new new ideas on this case.

6. Adding an Alexa widget will add a lot to your ranking. Alexa widgets added in your site will help to count those ones who visits the site without an alexa toolbar. If they click in the widget, then it will give more boost. Follow the above given link to make your widget.

MY TIP! Redirection method

I will say a new TIP to increase the Alexa. Anyway I haven’t tried this yet just flashed this idea through my mind. Its a redirection technique. To apply this technique  you need to have a site with high Alexa in hand. Suppose you have a website called www.example1.com with Alexa around 10 Lakhs. Now you need to increase the Alexa of www.example2.com The technique is you may redirect the high alexa domain www.example1.com to www.example2.com I haven’t given a shot to this but I believe its logically true. I think this is a quick & fast technique  which will give you awesome results.

What if you dont have a high alexa site?

Just apply all the conventional techniques & increase one of your sites alexa first. If its a blog, posting some high number of articles (2 or 3 posts per day) will constantly improve your sites Alexa.  After making Alexa HIGH for one of your site, use redirection technique to improve the Alexa of your other sites.

The next domain I will walk through is online money making based on a practical methodology.
